Welcome to Issue No. 1. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and sitting here writing it feels genuinely fulfilling. Every Friday at 6PM, this hits your inbox. Real talk about what the week looked like, what we are building, and what is coming.

This Week
April has been a lot. In the best and hardest way.
April so far has been one of the most rewarding and exhausting months of our lives, and we are only halfway through it. This week alone felt like an entire chapter. Here is what actually happened.
Petra had her very first lifestyle modeling photo and video shoot this week, and I genuinely do not have the words for what it was like to watch. There is something powerful about seeing someone step into a space and just own it completely. It was like watching someone who was always meant for something finally find their way to it. She was incredible. 🙂
And then there was my first speaking engagement. I still cannot quite believe I am typing that. I spoke to year 8 and year 9 students, aged 13 to 15, at Osnovna šola Cerklje ob Krki. Standing in front of that room is something I have been working toward for a long time, and it delivered in every way I hoped. I talked about growing up in America, the sports, the food, just how massive the country really is. I talked about the realities of creating content, the hard parts and the rewarding parts. Meeting those students and getting to share a little piece of my life with them was something I will carry for a while.
On Wednesday we acted with Visit Ljubljana, which never gets old. We genuinely work with incredible people on a weekly basis and Petra and I feel so blessed every single time. On Thursday we filmed with an amazing Slovenian company, and the people we have met through that collaboration have been something else entirely. This is our biggest project to date, and we cannot wait to bring it to life. There is a lot coming from that filming session very soon.
On top of all of that we filmed throughout the week and put out UGC content. Our typical day starts around 9, after breakfast and taking our puppy on a walk. This week included a lot of late nights, closing the laptop at 10PM or later after a full day of work. We put in the hours because we genuinely love what we are building, and we feel blessed enough to always be willing to sacrifice the time to make great things.
We also had many exciting and successful meetings this week. There are things moving behind the scenes that we are so ready to share. More on that very soon.
On the personal side, we have been cooking a lot this week as we work to get back into our healthy habits. Sweet potatoes have been a staple in our kitchen and honestly we are not complaining. One thing we are craving more of though is a really good burger. If you know any great spots or want to collaborate with your favorite burger place, let us know!
This past Saturday we met up with our amazing friends and their girls at the Ljubljana Zoo. It was one of those days where nothing big happens, but everything feels full. We talked, laughed, caught up, and just soaked in the kind of time together that reminds you why people matter.
We are also deep in wedding planning, which is its own full time job. It takes a lot of time and energy, and there are so many details to figure out. We are doing our best to enjoy the process and stay present in it rather than just trying to get through it. If you have been through it and have any advice, we would genuinely love to hear from you.
