Hey, it's Aaron!
Welcome to Issue No. 9. Every Friday, this hits your inbox. Real talk about what the week looked like, what we are building, and what is coming.
LET’S GOOOOO!
This Week
It’s TIME for Cherries! Chaos this week…
This week was hectic. It started with picking cherries (THERE ARE A LOT THIS YEAR ❤️), and it ended with picking cherries. This week I visited a new Slovenian city, Velenje. It is a beautiful city near Celje, and it has apparently a beautiful lake that I didn’t get to see. I was there, because this week I filmed with an amazing Slovenian company called Gorenje!

First day of cherries a special day - Sunday, June 7th!

Gorenje Monday, June 8th, 2026 with the FIFA World Cup 2026 soccer ball!
Our first day we were on site, but the second day we did something I have never done before…we interviewed people on the street. It was an experience to say the least, I didn’t have any prior experience walking up to people on the street and asking them to be in my video, but it was a really nice experience. Make sure you stay tuned for those videos in the future!!

Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 - Ljubljana City Center!
Wednesday I filmed for an internal projects and didn’t go out after a pretty exhausting Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was also a cherry picking day. Petra and I picked cherries for at least 3 hours. Picking fruits and growing foods in the garden is something that I have fallen in love with in Europe. It is so fulfilling, and it is so nice to see the reward of the harvesting season.

More Cherries from Wednesday June 10th, 2026 - 16KG (35 pounds)
Thursday was another interesting day, Petra and I filmed for the ‘Life With Aaron Arnold’ Youtube channel. There is a VERYYYY special video coming out on Sunday! Make sure you stay tuned for that. It involves cooking a traditional Slovenian dish 👀 Thursday afternoon, I had an audition for something that I will share more about in the future 🧐

Traditional Slovenian dish from Thursday, June 11th - Youtube video coming out Sunday!
Today, Petra and I went to the government office to schedule our civil wedding, but we discovered we need more things present in order to finalize everything. It wasn’t the outcome we expected from that visit, but it is one step closer to getting us to the final result! After leaving, we hurried to the center to film for an upcoming event in Ljubljana on June 20th! After we grabbed White Swan, a poke bowl restaurant, and enjoyed our salmon rice bowl along the Ljubljanica River and tried to just slow down for a while after everything happening. During our lunch two sweet little girls came up to us for a picture with Petra! It was such a nice moment, and it made us feel so warm inside. Petra and I are always happy when people say hi to us, but we honestly never expect it. It’s one of those situations that gives us ‘imposter syndrome’ the feeling like “what do you mean a picture with me?” lol. Overall, we are just incredibly humbled by every experience we have.
At the end of the week, I can confidently look back and say we worked hard, we are one step closed to our dreams, and we made the most of each day. In the end, that is all one can do and that will lead to a life well lived!
Thanks for being here this week! I hope to see you all next Friday!
