LET’S GOOOOO!

The start of June has been administrative lol. Pretty good way to sum up the week. I spent the week behind the laptop thinking big picture, long-term, and content direction. One thing about content is that it is the most dynamic role ever. Trends, ideas, travel, and life changes the content every single week. It’s truly a role where you have to be easily adaptable.

I spent Monday morning at the eye doctor! My eye was a bit inflamed last week, so I decided to get them checked for the first time in 2 years. My vision went down slightly, but it was simply a week of relaxing my eyeballs. I didn’t wear contacts all week 🤯

Tuesday Petra was at a Lelosi modelling shoot. I’m always so happy when she gets done, because she really gets energy and is always excited about the amazing people she works with. She could talk all day to me about how it went and what she wore, but my joy just comes from how excited it makes her. It’s truly a special priceless time for me 🙂

Wednesday was a bit rainy, but incredibly productive. I made a channel wide change to a project I’m working on. It took about 5 hours, but I was able to listen to an amazing podcast while working on it. The episode was on a channel called The Diary of a CEO and the guest was James Clear the author of the book Atomic Habits, which is a fascinating book by the way. This podcast is honestly something I would recommend to everyone!

Thursday Petra and I went to Arboretum Volčji Potok in Kamnik. Petra was invited for an event, and I was lucky enough to be her plus 1 lol. THE PARK WAS AMAZING. It was the caslte grounds of the countess of Augsburg, Austria. As you can imagine, it was truly majestic. We will be going back.

Well yeah that’s basically the week on paper. I’m working on a website right now, so that will drop soon! Petra and I are constantly filming and working on so many things behind the scenes. It is always a bit stressful, but at the end of the day we are always thankful. My head this week is full of things this week like: what content to make, where to live, how to get to the point I want to be at, I miss my family, and how can I be better. I’ll just write from the head for a moment now so bear with me, it might get a little scattered.

Life is short. Everyday you see the news about this bad thing or you open TikTok, and it’s about another bad thing, floods, theft, heartbreak, but all of these bad things distract us from so much good. There was a story from Albert Einstein where he was writing basic math on the board in his class.. 1×11 = 11, 2×11 = 22, 3×11 = 33,….. 9×11 = 100. He missed the last one and everyone in the room laughed, but that was the lesson. Before that one mistake he had gotten all of the others correct, but still the students only noticed the bad, the one mistake. As my favorite book reads, “Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself”. At the end of the day you just have to trust in what you are doing, stay strong, stay consistent, stay relentless, no one else can do it for you!
