Hey, it's Aaron!

Welcome to Issue No. 7. Every Friday, this hits your inbox. Real talk about what the week looked like, what we are building, and what is coming.

LET’S GOOOOO!

This Week
HOW IS MAY OVER THIS WEEKEND?

This is the last week of May and June 1st starts on Monday. That is SCARY lol. April was a slow month honestly. It was full of change, constant travel and new experiences, and that’s exactly why May went by so quickly. This month was full of office and administrative work. I spent more time behind my computer, had more dates, and enjoyed cooking many more meals with Petra than ever before.

This week was an internal filming week. I’ve been working on a project behind the scenes for months now, and soon I will share what it is about. More than anything this week I have enjoyed the sunsets. The evenings have been peaceful and full of sunlight, which has been a nice way to end the day relaxing on the balcony. On top of that, Petra and I have enjoyed ‘Bezeg’ juice all week this week. Last week her Dad and I picked these flowers, and he treated them and made the most delicious juice. It’s hard to describe the taste, but it is basically a really refreshing juice.

The garden is in full bloom and this year is going to be huge. There will be blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, peaches, and SOOOOOOOO many cherries. This week Petra even picked the first Strawberry of the year! If she approves the picture you’ll see it below lol.

Thursday, Petra and I filmed for Visit Ljubljana with the absolute best videographer. Every time we film with her we really have a nice time and feel so special. We even saw a region of Ljubljana (Fužine) that I have never seen before. It was AMAZING! The river is beautiful there, the biking trails were clean and full of people, and the castle was absolutely stunning!

Muskrats in the river! They were enjoying the bread lol

The highlight of my week was honestly seeing how Petra is flourishing. This week she worked on 3 brand deals while writing the concepts, filming, editing, and delivering amazing content. Every phase of the projects by herself (I would help but it’s in Slovene :/). It’s so amazing to see her fall in love with the entire content process. Like seriously, she is so amazing, and I am so proud ❤️

Today, Petra and I filmed with the biggest Youtube Channel we have been a part of it. It’s called Dating Beyond Borders. Marina the owner of the channel was so fun and made Petra feel right at home. We talked about Slovenia and how it is for an American and Slovenian to date. We discussed cultural differences and talked a bit about our story. It was honestly a great conversation. I will updated you with the link once that video comes out!

Anyways, enough rambling. It was an amazing week, and we have so much to be thankful for. The best part about building your own brand is that all of the pain, struggle, and setback pushes you towards your goals. Every single day Petra and I work on building something for our future and that is worth everything.

I hope you enjoyed the newsletter, if you did share it with a friend! I hope to see you next Friday 🙂 Cheers!!
