This Week - Resurgence 😤
Petra and I watched a movie for maybe the 5th time in our relationship this week. The movie we watched was the Maze Runner Scorched Trials. I am telling you right now that movie was amazing. Full of action and it even kept Petra awake the whole time lol. She is one to fall asleep during any movie, so this one must have been good.
Tuesday was a fun day. I tried on suits for the wedding, and it was amazing! I went to an amazing store named Sens. It has really nice men’s suits. There I received so much help with styling and picking out the perfect outfit for the big day. It’s crazy writing this now realizing that we are one step closer to our wedding day!
This week Petra and I spent so much quality time together. We talked about dreams, celebrated goals, and realized that whatever happens we are blessed to have each other. Life is beautiful when your partner is your best friend ☺️ Also, I got to give a shout-out to my other best friend, my Dad. He always supports me, pushes me, and makes me feel abundantly loved. The older I get the more I realize how similar we really are and for that I am so grateful 🫶

Petra made us Slovenian pancakes this week. SOOOOOO GOOD with homemade sour cherry (višnja) on the inside!

As always, we had a delicious burger this week! The toasted bun was special!
I made a creamy chicken sauce over rice this week that was hands down the best I have ever made. The picture doesn’t do it justice!

oh and we enjoyed some volleyball on water this week. Literally the coolest event in Slovenia. Obsessed with this!
