Hey, it's Aaron!
Welcome to Issue No. 12. Every Friday, this hits your inbox. Real talk about what the week looked like, what we are building, and what is coming.
LET’S GOOOOO!
This Week
THE MONTH of July…Interesting Start
HEY… I am so glad you are here! It’s a bit difficult to put into words the weight of this week. Last week, on Thursday my gmail account was hacked and the hacker took our Youtube channel to promote a crypto scam. I have spent the past week trying to get a response from Google for help with my case. They have confirmed they are working on it, but it is moving much slower than I would like…
The hardest part for me is that I warned the Youtube team that my email had been hacked 4 hours before any scam or illegal content would be published through my account however nothing was done to prevent the issue. The hardest part honestly isn’t the channel being taken, but the fact that that channel being taken has affected everything else. We had so much explosive growth and huge momentum and all of that was shut down by association to the hacked account.
The lessons from the issue are massive, but I’ll write to you the biggest one of all. Control what you can control! The hardest times of my life have always been when I am completely out of control. With this situation for example, I am completely reliant and waiting for someone else to take action on something they really don’t care about. At the end of the day, this is my problem, so others aren’t in a hurry. This would all be prevented if I didn’t make a mistake to move things out of my control. CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL, when you lose control you become hopeless and it is by far the worst feeling.
I write all of this in a serious, but hopefully manner. I know everything will workout, and I have faith that the wrong done will only produce a greater good. We will be back stronger and bigger. As my favorite book As a Man Thinketh says, “Circumstance does not make a man; it reveals him to himself”.
Now let’s get into the week. This is the more fun stuff lol.
Sunday, June the 28th, was a beautiful day. After everything that happened a couple of days before Petra and I and took time to go down to the creek. It was stunningly beautiful. My whole life the water has been a place for me to sit relax and just get lost in the nature. The sound of the water, the birds of the air, and every other little creature calling the water home. Here we were able to get away for a couple of hours into the nature and just be present. It was something I needed more than anything!

Monday we tried to make something different… juice shots. We have never made these before, but we were hoping to start each day with something nutritious and tasty. We mixed lemon, carrots, apple, and ginger. As I said, it was our first time, so we didn’t properly proportion correctly, and you can image what happened… TOO MUCH GINGER lol. They were tough to drink, but for the health right?! lol

Tuesday was an administrative day. With everything happening, Petra and I are just trying to stay motivated and keep pushing, because when everything is back we will be more than ready to get going. It was burger Tuesday 🙂 They were sooooooo good 🤤

Wednesday was more of the same, and Petra did her nails. She has been doing them now for around a year, and she just keeps getting better. They are sooooo good! She really is talented when it comes to all things creative and design. That’s why she is so good at content! Her mind just explodes with ideas.

Thursday we went down to the creek again for another mind and afternoon reset. It’s becoming our favorite thing of the summer!
Friday! Today we had a photoshoot in the morning at 6AM in Tivoli Park! We met the most amazing couple and we can’t wait to show you the results of the shoot today 🙂 Afterwards Petra and I went for a date!!! I took her for a nice breakfast date something we haven’t done it a while. Petra and I spend all day every day together. We are working on our dreams everyday, but sometimes we don’t take time for us just to date and enjoy our time together so that is what we did this morning!! We had a delicious egg benedict croissant with bacon from Lana’s Corner in the center of Ljubljana. Seriously, so good!!

After breakfast we had filming with Visit Ljubljana. It was so nice to meet a few new faces and to explore new spots around Ljubljana. We filmed with Hana who is always so nice to film with. Petra and I always feel so comfortable and happy around Hana. It just speaks to how awesome she is!
Well there was a lot this week! I hope you enjoyed reading. Life is crazy, but with a purpose and why everything is much easier. Cheers to you and cheers to your Friday!
