What is up amazing people! Welcome back! How is it already week 10? I have been loving sharing an inside scoop into my life and everything going on. Honestly, it’s just nice to write out my thoughts for the week!

This week was an internal grind. Petra and I worked on so many different things, and we have been focusing on making our work systematized. It is quite a challenge to see how to move your time around and how to work together as a team.

Monday was a day of delivery! We sent two amazing brands content that we had been working on, so it was nice to see the fruit of the hard work. On top of that we did a lot of internal filming. I was at the office everyday filming this week. I typically try to only film a couple of days, but with the World Cup happening more filming was needed!

This week we had the best meal on Monday. Petra and I made delicious burgers for lunch. The flavor was incredible, and honestly we make them better now than we ever did before. We made a delicious tuna past as well. In terms of food, this week was great.

The highlight of the week was Wednesday. Petra and I were invited to an event at the US Embassy to welcome the new American Ambassador in Slovenia, Asel Roberts. There also was newly elected Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Janša. It was a huge event with between 500-700 people. I had no idea it was going to be so huge. Petra and I had the best time. We met so many amazing people, and we honestly had the most humbling experience. The second half of the event was a World Cup watch party where we watched Portugal’s game and England’s game. This week Petra and I took 30 minutes to talk to the camera about how blessed we are. We spoke about our goals, our current struggles, our successes, and used the footage as a documentary to capture our life in a moment. We truly see that our hard work is paying off, and most days it feels like fever dream. We are so grateful for everything we have and everyday we feel so incredibly blessed.

One lesson we have talked about this week a lot is that the best people just do it. They don’t think, calculate and second guess decisions they just take consistent action over and over again. The older I get the more I realize great things take time to build. The struggle gives you knowledge and with time you continue to grow on the rock hard foundation that you built. As Michael Smoak says, “It aint easy, but it is simple. Don’t over complicate it.”
